Rev. Dr.  Clarence "Teddy" Williams

Rev. Dr. Clarence Williams is a native of Savannah, Georgia.  He was educated in the Savannah/Chatham County Public Schools and graduated from Jenkins High School in 1977.  He graduated from Savannah State College (now known as Savannah State University) in 1984 with a B.S. Degree in Dietetics and Institutional Management.

His religious education includes studies at the Billy Graham School of Evangelism (Wheaton College) and Beeson Divinity School (Samford University).  He received an Honorary Doctorate of Christian Music Degree from the Great Commission School of Ministry and Seminary (Kansas City, MO).

He is Vice President of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.  Music Auxiliary, Music Director for The General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Music Instructor and Chapter Representative for the Gospel Music Workshop of America.

He is active in the community serving as a volunteer chaplin for the Chatham County Sheriff's Department and Coordinator of Programs for Alice Street, Inc.

Pastor Williams also serves as a member of the City of Savannah Cultural Affairs Commission.

He is married to Linda G. Williams (a public school teacher) and the father of seven children.
